Terra Gay, Principal Transformation Consultant 

 

I have over 20 years of professional experience, including an extensive background in National Service leadership, training, consulting, organizational and entrepreneurial knowledge.

 

I have a B.A. degree in African and African-American Studies from Emory University, and have a Certificate in Cultural Diversity and Race Relations from Fisk University. Additionally, I am certified in International Baccalaureate education and as a curriculum designer, I have created training models and modules to provide both onsite and virtual trainings for communities throughout the United States.

 

I have successfully conducted numerous seminars, workshops, and training classes. My trainings or speaking subjects, topics or themes have been highly robust, including, but not limited to diversity equity and inclusion, cultural competency, mentoring, leadership, networking, entrepreneurship, community building, project management, National Service programming and implementation, and others.

 

Rated as stellar, clients and participants have touted the benefits of my trainings have resulted in enhancing learning experiences, preparation, knowledge, cultural awareness, community engagement and development skills.  I have trained youth, staff and community members around the country via partnerships with 826 National, Citi Foundation, The Corporation for National and Community Service,Habitat for Humanity, City Year, KaBoom!, The Magic Johnson Foundation, The Chaka Foundation, Target, Bank of America, Starbuck's, Price Waterhouse Cooper, Jet Blue, Office Depot, The Learning Channel (TLC), The King Center and many, many more.
